My favorite...fruit
Year 2004

D.T.'s NOTE: PLEASE keep in mind that I translated this interview myself, and I certainly DO NOT appreciate stealing. If you want to post it on your own site then e-mail me to ask. Okay!??!!? This interview has been translated from a Thai magazine as indicated above. The Thai interview itself was translated from the original, Japanese interview. So you see, as being traslated many times, no doubt the interview has been altered in one way or another. Therefore, it is very liable to mistakes. If you have any comments, questions, or corrections to make, please feel free to e-mail me at destination_truth@yahoo.com. I want to make these interviews as accurate as possible, and would gladly accept any advices or whatever you care to give ^O^ Thanks, and enjoy!

They've talked about their favorite candies (will get to that soon...if I can find it ^O^" -D.T.) and so today they're hear to talk about their favorite fruits. Let's go see what they like.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Tackey: I've always liked peaches, I don't know why. Everytime I see them I just have to get them. I also like fermented peach. Fruits that are in the same group as peaches like persimmons. So...well, anything that's a fruit I like, I guess.

Kyoko Fukada: I like mangos, but not the type that's a whole piece, I like them in puddings, where they're cut into small pieces. Usually I like vegetables more than fruits such as cauiflowers - I really like those. I like vegetables.

Yamapi: I like really sour oranges, just eating it plainly without seasonings. It's really good. Other than fruits I like apples, bananas...I like all fruits basically.

KAT-TUN
TATSUYA-I like fruits that are sour and sweet, like strawberries dipped in condensed milk, it's delicious. There's no real reason why I like it especially *laughs* I just know that I like sweet and sour tastes, plus strawberries smell nice.
JIN-I like fruits that have a lot of water in it, like watermelons. I would eat half a watermelon at once *laughs* I also like peaches, but they have to be juicy.
JUNNO-I like peaches, its sweetness is really delicious, but I don't like it when they're ripe and juicy. I like hard crunchy peaches.
KOKI-I like bananas because they give you a lot of energy. I have to eat one per day, I can't miss eating one for a day *laughs* Bananas in condensed milk is really good, if you don't believe me, you have to try it, you'll be addicted.
KAME-I've taken a liking to strawberries lately, they're small and sweet. I also like bananas, I eat them at breakfast often because they give me energy.
YUICHI-When I was a kid I would go out to pick strawberries, they're really delicious eating them fresh. So I like them especially, you can eat them plainly or eat them with condensed milk.

ARASHI
AIBA-My favorite fruit is cherries, not the ones from America, but from Japan. The season for cherries is really short, I have to eat them every year. I also like pears and watermelons but...it's really annoying taking out all the seeds in watermelons.
SHO-I like mangos, especially in puddings. You can't find them anywhere at this time of year, but it's a fruit of the hot countries right? So when you eat it, you really get the feel of the season.
NINO- Melons are expensive, but it's fun looking at them (I think he's talking about looking at the price of melons -D.T.). I don't think the taste and the price really make sense, one melon is ten thousand yen. Even though I know that the price is high, everytime I talk about it I'm surprised *laughs*
JUN-I like oranges, the pink oranges. I don't really get to eat it at home, but when we go touring I always have the urge to eat it at the hotels we stay at. I don't know why, I always order it at the hotels.
SATOSHI-I like litchi, I really like them. I also like to peel the skin, it's fun *laughs* Peeling egg shells is a hassle, peeling litchi skin is really enjoyable.

V6
JUNICHI-I like sour fruits, and I like fruits where you can see its cells. I was eating a grape once and I happened to see it *laughs* I like sour fruits right? And grapes have a real tender sourness. Another reason why I like grapes is because one bunch has a whole bunch of 'em!
KEN-Fruits? I like American cherry, strawberries, and persimmons. I like watermelons too. Ah! That's wrong, because wetermelons are not fruits, they're vegetables. A lot of people misunderstand that it's a fruit, but actually watermelons are categorized as vegetables. (err...I looked into this but I still found that watermelons are a type of fruit...I've never heard of watermelons being a controversy on whether is a fruit or a vegetable ^^" Tomatoes I've heard of, but watermelons!?!? comments, anyone? maybe I got this wrong ^O^" -D.T.)

KINKI KIDS
TSUYOSHI-I like sweet-tasting fruits, I like pears. I like most fruits actually, with the exception of sour-tasting ones. I think the sweeter ones are more delicious.
KOICHI-I like peaches, but not ripe ones, I like fresh ones. I was asked this before, and I answered like this: Why do I like peaches? I don't know either, I just know that my favorite fruit is peach.

THE END.

I think what he's talking about is a "blood orange" ^O^" They look like an orange on the outside, but instead of being orang on the inside, it's red. It look a bit freaky O_O I tried it once, but the taste was so incredibly sour that I only a little...=P
