Ah, yes the season of Love...what are the boys from KinKi Kids like at this time of the year? We had them take a test to go with the festival of Love, let's see how these boys faired!

INT: So according to the test results, when you date someone, Tsuyoshi-kun, you'll date someone who is a fun person?
TSUYOSHI: Yeah, I want to be with someone whom my friends will say is a "fun person." Because I want her to have fun with my friends too, but too bad I don't have a girlfriend at the moment.
INT:*laughs* Even if you don't have a girlfriend, the test results still came out accurate?
TSUYOSHI: But actually right now I'm not looking for love. I don't hate love, but I want it to happen naturally.
INT:The results came out saying that you'll date someone for a long time while slowly uncovering a little bit of their real personality?
TSUYOSHI: For example when I'm buying a present for a friend, I wouldn't usually have them all fancily wrapped at the store, but if I do that for my girlfriend, it'd be cute right? *laughs*
INT: So if you really like someone, you'll be pretty darn sweet and cute, won't you?
TSUYOSHI: Yup.
INT: You seem to be a real playboy!
TSUYOSHI: *laughs* I'm not really, even if the characters I play in dramas are but I swear that I'm not a playboy. Don't get me wrong. When a love is not going well 100%, it will have emotional effects but this kind of thing has to be supported and solved by both sides. Sometimes even being together would feel lonely, that kind of feeling is really heavy.
INT: So if your girlfriend is cheating on you, you would break up with her immediately?
TSUYOSHI: I think I would *laughs* You can't cheat on me if you're to go out with me. I'll be the one to discipline my girlfriend about that kind of thing. I don't like lying, even if I don't know the truth, I think that I'll know if she's dating another guy. Because when I hold her hand, it'll feel different, it won't be the same. If beforehand, she'd hold my hand tightly, and all of a sudden she stops doing it, that's enough for me to know. But the truth that she's faraway from me will probably hurt me very much, if she likes someone else I would want her to tell me honestly. (is it just me or does it sound like this has happened to him before....? =S -D.T.)
INT: Plus you're the type of person that would take a really long time to get over a breakup.
TSUYOSHI: The longest I've took was 2 years. After half a year she was still on my mind all the time, and the next half of the year I felt like I wanted to be in love again...so I really do take a long time *laughs* (whoa!! must've been pretty serious! I feel sorry for him...=( -D.T.)
INT: So you're way of forgetting an old love is to find new love?
TSUYOSHI: I don't think that's right because I don't think it'd go smoothly. If we cannot change ourselves then a new love cannot begin. Ah! During the two years that I was heartbroken, I figured that if I wanted a new love, I would have to change myself. So I would be able to meet new people , I don't want love to be what it used to be. I want another kind of love, and for the old love, I'll just keep the remnants for myself.

KOICHI: Mm...possibly, because of my career, I don't have much free time and we wouldn't see each other often. If my girlfriend doesn't understand that, it'd be really bad for me.

KOICHI: If I had one, I'd be happy. But if I didn't have one, I won't feel troubled or anything *laughs*

KOICHI: I don't think that has anything to do with it *laughs* But it probably is hard to just ask someone out the first time you meet each other. I'm not really the type to fall in love at first sight because I wouldn't know her really well. I have to talk to her first.
INT: In what matters are you detailed and calm in?
KOICHI: I don't know whether what I'm about to say is good or bad, but for me love is a compromise.
INT: The results came out saying that you date someone on the surface, and that your relationships would usually end by someone catching the other cheating?
KOICHI: That is completely off *laughs* People who catch their significant other cheating are lucky but I'm not up to that level. I don't think I'll run into someone who will do that kind of thing.
INT: You seem to be a playboy?
KOICHI: That's off too *laughs* Honestly, I'm not a playboy at all. But if I had to break up with someone because I was cheating, I think that's very dull.
INT: If you don't break up because you catch the other cheating, what would make you break up?
KOICHI: If the other says, "I don't like you anymore," then that can't be helped. It's no use being with someone who doesn't love you. No matter how shocked or sad you are, it can't be helped. I would want to talk it out with her before we break up though.
INT: Would you really get over it that fast?
KOICHI: I don't think so. But since it can't go on anymore, I'll just keep the good memories in my heart.
INT: Even if you know that it'll take a long time to get over it?
KOICHI: Yes.
INT: You would focus your attention on your work and your hobbies right?
KOICHI: This one is true *laughs* I'm lucky that I always have work to do. When I'm working, I'm not suppose to think of anything else anyway. My hobby is driving, but if I'm heartbroken I may not want to drive because it won't be very fun. Plus I don't consult with my friends, I'd probably just tell them, "we broke up." But that's not really consulting, I'm just telling them of the situation.
INT: For real, how long do you think you would take to get over a breakup?
KOICHI: I don't know either, I think it depends on how we broke up. And I won't find a new girlfriend to cure my loneliness either. I want to give myself time to find a new love, I want it to be natural.
