ENDLICHERI ☆ ENDLICHERI. He wrote it for his mother after going to see cherry blossoms with her (like they do every year) and his mother said to him, "I wonder how many more times can I see the cherry blossoms with you?" That was when he realized how old his mother was getting, and how old he himself was getting that she could say such things. He felt like the only way he could express it was through music, so her wrote this song. It's a very sweetly sad song, especially if you see him perform it live *hearts* When he had to sing this song to record it in the studio, he was so nervous (because I think it's a very personal and emotional song for him), that the staff had to help coax and support him into singing it. The first time he sang it live on Music Station, he sent his mother an email saying, "I'm glad I was born as your son."

It goes without saying that this song is incredibly hard to translate and that even after going over and over it again for 4 years, I'm still not sure if I've done it correctly...But I did my best T_T And I'll probably still be tinkering with the words even after I post this but, here it is ♥

Thank you for the translation. XD~ You did a great job at translating Tsuyo's beautiful poetic words. :) From all the translations I've seen out there, yours seemed to be the most accurate one to show what he felt for his mother while writing and composing this song.

Oh well, it's always difficult to understand what Tsuyo means when you read all his songs' lyrics. Does he mean 'The bodies lined up nicely' as the scattered cherry blossom petals that withered away on the ground? Or does it mean other things? XD!

No doubt this is an emo song for him to sing. XD~ We can see tears in his eyes when he performed this at 'Best Artist 2006'...

But my translation still isn't perfect! When you pointed out the line 'the bodies lined up nicely' it made me realize I translated that line wrong. I fixed it in the translation, I hope it makes more sense now, Tsuyoshi is actually talking to the cherry blossom tree there, I think =) It's so hard to convey his words in my crappy English XD I'm sorry for the mistake T_T

I can mull over the song for years and I'll still want to mess with the translation, I'm sure XD

Haha. Yes, the lyrics make more sense now when he refers the bodies to cherry blossom trees. :) I always love his somehow twisted words but can't deny how he good with it.

I'm glad KinKi is releasing a single soon. T_T I think this is the longest they ever been to without releasing anything. Oh KinKi, please be more active?~ XD!

Do you mind translating 'Giniro Angou' too? XD;; Somehow I want to see your way of translating that beautiful song. :D

It really is a beautiful song, but sooooo hard Y_Y Trust Tsuyoshi to make my life difficult haha. Although actually, the song futari that Koichi wrote the lyrics for was also *pulls hair out* These two are just too deep haha XD

The anticipation of the single makes me incoherent. XD~ I'm so excited since it is such a beautiful song. It makes my heart warm by just hearing the melody. This is the first time I ever bought both versions of a single. I usually will buy only the limited one in an attempt not to be a crazy fangirl but I just can't say no when all the songs are composed and written by them. ♥♥♥

I didn't realize you have translated everthing in their Phi album. ♥ Gonna check it out now. I longed to read 'Rhapsody' lyrics translation. Nobody has translated it before. Somehow hearing that song and their voices makes me sad and reminiscence a little. XD~ Esp when you hear the song while watching this fanvid: http://vimeo.com/7004490. T_T

I remember reading the translation of 'futari' awhile back and giggle on my own. XD~ Imagining Ko-chan writing this is just funny. And as much as I want it to be about the two of them, I can't say since the lyrics somehow do not suit or portray to the relationship between them two..
